Welcome to Law, Policy and Society (LPS), an interdisciplinary program that offers the Ph.D., M.S., and JD/MS degrees. LPS examines public policy from an interdisciplinary law and social science perspective. Our students engage in public policy analysis and research in several areas including crime, law and justice; culture, race and gender policy; environmental policy; health policy; labor market, education and workforce development; and urban policy. LPS graduates enter careers in research, teaching, government, non-profit, and legal institutions.
